In 2010, Charlie Pilzer conceived and built the Takoma Park, Maryland studio that became Tonal Park in 2017, a world-class facility that incorporates multiple studios for all facets of music and audio production. Charlie, along with Chief Engineer Don Godwin and Senior Mastering Engineer Randy LeRoy formed a multiple-Grammy-winning team of engineers with decades of experience in an immense range of musical styles. Now partnering with Takoma Music School, Tonal Park, along with our neighbors WOWD, People’s Book, and House Of Musical Traditions, forms the backbone of the thriving Takoma Park and Washington DC creative community.
